Hi
Michael,
I would like to thank you for the wonderful
experience that we had with you for Tiffany's senior
pictures. Her classmates really liked her pictures, and
that was what Tiffany was looking for.
From the very beginning of her senior
year, Tiffany searched and searched many internet sites and read
flyers she received through the mail looking for a studio for her
senior pictures. Nothing was what she was looking for. She did
not want same 'ol pictures that everyone else was getting. She
wanted something different and unique, and even to be able to use
her own ideas. Like a typical gal, she wanted an
unlimited amount of clothes, she wanted a beach scene (in
Iowa?? HA!) and a water scene, and I could go on and on. In
other words, she wanted it "all"! I wished her a lot of
luck finding someone that would take that much time with her for her
senior photo's. But she actually found someone.......you,
Michael. You offered her exactly what she wanted and
more. Each and every pose was tailored to Tiffany, and
anything serious or silly she was allowed to try. There was
no..."stand here do this, stand there do that" like everyone else
experiences. It was more like "let's try this", "what do
you think of that".....etc. Her photo's were unique, and
the photo sessions were fun.
When we walked into your studio for the
first time, we didn't know what to expect. From the first flash
of the camera to the very last "waiting for the sun to go down" you
treated Tiffany very special and with respect. When
we came back for the presentation of her photos (musical
slide show) it was super! Much, much more than we would have
ever expected. The most difficult time of the whole session
was picking out our photos. There were so many great images of
Tiffany (including her "serious" one that reminded us of
her "whatever" look we get at home!!), and of course my
favorite, "fish biting her toes" one. The photo of Tiffany with the fence and
the peek-a-boo one are still the favorites of all adults, while her
classmates really liked the black hat
one.
When we left your studio for the final
time after the pictures were all done, we felt like we not only
found a "treasure" in the studio, we had also found a friend that we
certainly have respect for. I was awestruck at your community
involvement, and the many, many donations that are made out of your
studio to families, furnished and
students.

My advise to other seniors and
parents is that if you are looking for a photographer that
allows only an hour for your senior pictures, and a quick in and
out, Heartscape is NOT the place for you....BUT if you are looking
for a unique experience and a lifetime of keepsake photo's that
are special and showcases the "real you", then definitely visit with
Michael at
Heartscape.
Thank you so much Michael! We will
see you next year for our son,
Casey!!
